Dr. Howard Baum is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with over 35 years of experience in the medical field. He received his Medical degree and graduated with honors from New York Medical College in 1989. Dr. Baum completed his Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.

He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including both Maimonides Medical Center and New York Community Hospital. He has been in practice for over 25 years. Dr. Baum is an Honorary Police Surgeon, a medical doctor who acts as a consultant to the New York City Police Department (NYPD). He also has a patent in the bio-engineering field. He is married with three adult children. Dr. Baum enjoys hiking, kayaking, fishing, and target shooting.
